Nopp Credential Sync Chrome Extension — Last updated: March 2026

What this extension does

The Nopp Credential Sync extension reads visible form fields on CAQH ProView (proview.caqh.org) and sends them to your Nopp account so your credentialing data is available in one place. It can also fill CAQH forms using data already stored in your Nopp profile.

Data collected

The extension reads the following types of data only when you explicitly click a button:

Credentialing information visible on the current CAQH ProView page (names, license numbers, dates, NPI, DEA numbers, board certifications, malpractice policy details, education history, work history, hospital affiliations, and professional references)
Your Nopp account identifier (used to associate pulled data with your profile)

The extension does not:

Run automatically or collect data without user action
Access pages outside of proview.caqh.org
Store any data locally on your device beyond the API token you configure in Settings
Share data with any third party
Access your CAQH login credentials or password

Where data is sent

Data is sent only to your Nopp account via the Nopp API (nopp.us). Nopp stores this data in your provider profile to facilitate credentialing workflows. Nopp's full privacy policy is available at nopp.us/extension/privacy.html.

Authentication

The extension uses an API token that you generate from your Nopp Provider Wallet. This token is stored locally in Chrome's extension storage (chrome.storage.local) and is only sent to the Nopp API. You can revoke and regenerate this token at any time from your Nopp wallet.

Permissions used

activeTab — to read and fill form fields on the currently active CAQH ProView tab when you click a button
storage — to save your API token and Nopp server URL locally
host_permissions for proview.caqh.org — to inject the content script that reads and fills CAQH forms

Who can use this extension

The extension is designed for healthcare providers, facility credentialing staff, insurance payer enrollment teams, and staffing agencies who use both CAQH ProView and the Nopp credentialing platform. Only users with a Nopp account and a valid API token can send data to Nopp.

Data retention

The extension itself retains no data. Your API token is stored in chrome.storage.local until you clear it or uninstall the extension. Data sent to Nopp is retained according to Nopp's data retention policy and can be deleted by contacting support.
